| For more than 10 years, the Home and Careers Department at John G. Borden Middle School, Wallkill, NY, has held Career Day. This gives the students the opportunity to see and meet with area businesses to better understand the types of jobs that exist not only in their world, but right within their community. The businesses get to demonstrate their trades and let the students know what jobs might be available to them some day. Career Day 2007 was the first of what we hope will be many years of participation by MultiMedia Service Center. We'd like to thank Mrs. Lazaroff and her team for their hospitality and dedication to such a wonderful event. Over 200 students stopped by our table and met with owner Rich Rossi to learn about the services we provide. We'll see you next year at Career Day 2008! |
