WHAT A DAY!
Yesterday (Friday, April 24th), I was sitting in on the dress rehearsal for the amazing “Cummings & Goings” musical, written and directed by Ada Janik Margoshes. Click here for a review: http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090421/LIFE/904210304. It’s playing at the Senior Center in Montgomery on Sunday, April 26th. We (MMSC) helped design flyers and programs for the show, and I’ll be videotaping it.
The thing that made it such an amazing day was the number of current and former customers of MMSC who walked through the doors of the Center at various times yesterday.
When I arrived there was Ada (current) as well as her husband Steve Margoshes (current). Howard Garrett (current), who heads up the Town of Montgomery Chamber series, was checking out the rehearsal. Ken DeAngelis and Julie Ziavras (Ken & Julie, former) are part of the production. As if that wasn’t enough, as the rehearsal was ending in walks Vic Miranda (current), who does a great Sinatra show, as well as the guys from A Fragile Tomorrow (current), an awesome band that is tearing it up on their way to the top. Vic and AFT were there to set up for a benefit show that was playing on Saturday, the day before the Cummings show.
Like I said, what a day! It was very gratifying to see so many people who are or have been part of the MMSC family of fine customers.
